The second-annual Windermere Foundation Comedy for a Cause event in Seattle will feature a stand-up performance by Jason Alexander, as well as a cocktail hour, dinner, and paddle raise fundraiser.
About Jason Alexander
Best known as George Costanza in “Seinfeld,” Jason Alexander has worked as a writer; composer; TV, stage, video, and film director; producer; and acting teacher. For his work on “Seinfeld,” he received six Emmy nominations, and several other awards and nominations including the Julie Harris Award for Lifetime Achievement.
His Broadway credits include Merrily We Roll Along, The Rink, Broadway Bound, Accomplice, Jerome Robbin’s Broadway (Tony Award), Fish in the Dark and The Portuguese Kid. In LA, Jason served as the artistic director for the Reprise Theatre Company and starred in The Producers. He directed The God of Hell (Geffen), Native Garden (Pasadena Playhouse), If I Forget (Fountain Theatre), and the world premiere of Windfall (Arkansas Rep). He made his Broadway directorial debut in 2023 with The Cottage.
Jason has starred and guested in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Drunk History, Criminal Minds, Monk, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Bob Patterson, Listen Up, Orville and Young Sheldon and the television films of Bye Bye Birdie, Cinderella, and A Christmas Carol.
His many films include Pretty Woman, Jacob’s Ladder, Love Valor Compassion, Rocky and Bullwinkle, Dunston Checks In, The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Shallow Hal.
